Tikka at Ticca Tikka, whether Non-Veg or Veg, will tantalize your taste buds. The mouth-watering Indian spices add the aroma of happiness and excitement to the little Tikka pieces. Although, a widely available dish, only a handful of places get Tikka just right. One such place that I visited recently was Ticca Tikka, located between the City mall and the Infinity mall, on the New Link Road, Andheri. It’s just about 1.7 Kms from DN Nagar Metro Station.

The place is hard to miss, they have both outdoor and indoor seating arrangements for you to choose from. The outdoor is a nice mix of wooden arrangements with plants all around.
The indoor has a nice, comfy, décor made mostly from recycled/old items. On one wall, you have nice paintings capturing life and a cycle, giving out the USP of the place.
After settling down, we called for some mocktails, started with Litchi Panna:
It’s quite refreshing and a total must with the approaching heat. The Panna is a mixture of Litchi juice, lime juice, and raw mango juice, served with mint leaves. It was indeed my personal favorite.
Next, we ordered, Mango Basil Cooler:
It’s a nice sweet and tangy mocktail that is made up of mango juice, lime juice, soda, and basil leaves. This drink was also quite refreshing.
Since the place is known for its Tikka. I couldn’t stop myself and first, start with Paneer Malai Tikka. The Paneer is very soft, fresh and tender, serve in generous amount. It was buttery, but a little bland for my taste. It would have been nice if it was served with some complimenting dips.
Next on the table was Chicken Cheese Chilli Kebab:
This was exceptionally good, the chicken marinated to perfection. Which will make it melt in the mouth. The pieces were succulent and had the right amount of spices. Totally a must-try!
Amritsar Fish Tikka:
The boneless fish was cook to perfection and serve on a shovel-like plating.
Now coming to the main course; we called for Chicken Tikka Bunny Chow:
The bun was soft and crunchy which was filled with delicious Chicken Tikka gravy. Just like an open sandwich. It’s a well-done fusion to satisfy the hunger of 2-3 people.
Butter Chicken:
The gravy had the perfect aroma to seduce every hungry stomach. The Butter chicken is nice, a little sweet with thick gravy, unlike the one you find elsewhere. The flavors and spices were just perfect.
Blue Cheese Naan:
A rare kind of naan stuffed with blue cheese it tastes perfect with Butter Chicken.
No meal can end without a sweet dish and our choice of sweet was Gulkand Kulfi.
Each bite of the Kulfi gives you the flavor of Gulkand, mixed with the yumminess of kulfi, truly a must-try.
