DawaatELazeez Food Festival

Whenever we hear people discussing Iftar Food, Mohammad Ali Road, or the street delicacies. We all get super excited, but not everyone makes it there because of umpteen reasons. So as part of the #RamadaanDiaries, here is another gem, 180 degrees at Radisson Goregaon doing the DawaatELazeez Food festival. Which is inspired by the lanes of Mohammed Ali Road? Chef Syed Rahim has brought some magical flavors and some of their iterations of these delicacies.

DawaatELazeez Food Festival

We began with Kheema Pav! They have tried to be as authentic as possible. It’s a familiar feeling of being on the Khau Galli and enjoying the iftaar. It’s amazing.

Next, we tried the Halwa Paratha. They have made a good attempt. But the little unhealthy, ghee dripping is a sight that makes it perfect.

Post this, we tried the Pota Kaleji. It’s done on a Tawa. They serve in the same style which is usually done on the food street. This was another masterpiece.

Moving around to the mains, we began with tangdi and Mutton bhuna. The tangdi is well cook and for those who like tandoori, this one must definitely be tried. Mutton bhuna on the other hand was properly done. But this was not at all spicy!

Haleem

Haleem, just like the regular they serve with mint leaves, onion, lemon, slices of garlic, and fried onion to top. Again a great dish to try. Next, we tried the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani. It’s a decent attempt. A good combo of chicken pieces along with masaledaar rice. You must try this.

For desserts, we tried the regular spread in 180 degrees, and from the festival, we tried the Falooda. They have a live counter where you can choose among the 3 flavors namely strawberry, chocolate, and triple topper. Each of these will have a base of kulfi pieces, topped with Falooda, topping of your choice.
