After a month of fasting, praying and charity, you do want to have the biggest feast of all on Eid-al-Fitr. Here is one, inspired by the local streets of Mumbai like Mohammed Ali Road, Bohri Mohalla, and Khau Galli. Now experience Dawaat-E-Eid Food Festival which has delicacies from all these places under one roof – The Bayview at Hotel Marine Plaza.

What better than treating yourself in this special week of Eid with a view no one can say no to. Eat from a variety of buffet options while watching the sunset at marine drive. The place has a huge spread of buffet right in the center along with a fully stocked bar at the right.
Dawaat-E-Eid Food Festival has “Live counters” of;
- Kulfi falooda Ice cream
- Non-veg Tawa counter serving freshly tossed Kaleji, Gurda, Bheja, etc
- Galouti and Fish Pakodas (basa fish)
On the table, they start with the soup of the day before the meal. For us it was Lamb Shorba – It was hot, delicious and the consistency was good, wish there were more chunks of meat.
In starters we were served;
- Thai Fish Cake (the deep-fried Basa was delicious)
- Haryali Chicken Tikka
- Ghost Seekh Kebab (Kebab with a twist, boiled egg done cut in half then coated with the seekh kebab.
In mains, along with the variety of regular options, you can also try the Chicken Dum Biryani, Aloo Ghost Biryani, and Nalli Nihari. Don’t forget to try the biryani with the raita. I found the raita tastier than the biryani 😉
In desserts, we tried their Falooda and Mawa Jalebi with Rabdi along with the regular options of desserts.
Come and celebrate the festivity with Dawaat-E-Eid Food Festival at Bayview, Hotel Marine Plaza.
