Be Close to Nature, something that we all are slowly and gradually loosing on. Our distance from nature and natural things are increasing by leaps and bounds. Life and people are all becoming materialistic. Further, Let’s take a step backward from this unending race that we all are becoming a part of an escape from the mundane busy life and get close to nature. So, that’s exactly what I did on my recent visit to Attra’s Holidays & Camping Farms in Karjat just about 4 km away from ND Studio.

All about Attra’s Holidays & Camping Farms in Karjat

Further, the 12 acres huge Farm overlooks the Morbe dam on one side, and on the other side, it has a picturesque valley view. Also, the location is at its best as it is at the foothills of Matheran and full of greenery.

Meanwhile, the farm has multiple Bungalows, each Bungalow huge enough to accommodate 25-35 people. There are multiple bungalows with each having its own living room, kitchen, and multiple bedrooms with washrooms in every bedroom.

While you chill at the balcony, there is a picturesque view on the outside that you can enjoy while having your tea in this cool rainy weather.

At the Farm once will forget to check the phone for emails, messages, and calls and just enjoy little old school way. Relax by playing the games in the outdoor like the one used to play in their childhood. Rains on the outside, spend time on the inside by indulging in some indoor games like Carom, Table tennis, Chess, cards, etc.

Adventurous outdoor activities at the Farm

I like both so I started with Badminton, which I must have played after years and years and feels good to connect back to the game different from what we play on our smartphones, tabs, and laptops.

Further, I tried my hands in learning the basics of Horse Riding, Attra’s Holidays & Camping Farms in Karjat has two horses, one is 5 years old and the other is 3 years old. Time for horse riding, learn the basics on how to ride them yourselves or race with your friends or if scared, simply enjoy sitting on a horse.

To make our stay more competitive, we started with a Rifle Shooting Competition, it was interesting, fun, and intense, for people who were able to score points 😉 Did you know that there are two types of air rifles with different power level according to the strength of a male and female.

Guys being guys started with gully cricket. While we also tried hiking, walking around the greenery, pitching a tent. Subsequently, it gave different experiences, by offering something for all.

Campfire at Attra’s Holidays & Camping Farms in Karjat

Later we lite some campfire while the locals prepared some home-cooked food in their style, the way locals eat regularly. The veg food items do stand out from the non-veg, though that rarely happens with me 😉
