If you are a digital content creator, influencer, or a blogger, you know the struggle to create content and share it.
It’s not just creation; it’s continuously evolving, thinking, conceptualizing, and shooting meaningful, interesting, and engaging content. Through this, our fans/followers can interact with us.
But to get the best output, it becomes a need to have basic gadgets and equipment so we can share the best content. As I’ve been trying my hand at various gadgets over the years, there are many that I love.
Hence to simplify everyone’s life, here are those 8 gadgets and equipment every Digital content creator must-have.
1.Smartphone with Superior Camera:
There are many phones in this list, whether you’re an iPhone person, One Plus, Pixel, etc the list is non-ending. Depending on what brand and phone you’re more comfortable with, you can choose a good smart-phone. Just ensure the camera and picture quality is great and works well even in dim light.
Also, if you’re following the current trend and looking for Non-Chinese phones, I’ve got you covered. Here is the Best Non-Chinese Smartphone under 15000. Don’t miss out on this list.
2. Microphone:
There are many microphone options available but for starters just buy a reasonable microphone like a Tie Clip Collar Mic or a JTS Microphone. Start using and observe a difference in your voice quality in your video content. As time passes by, accordingly keep upgrading and changing depending on what Microphone type you’re more convenient with. Please remember that there is never a right or wrong. It all depends on your smartphone or camera with which you shoot.
3. External Storage Device:
Being a Digital Content creator means continuously creating more and more content. Always remember to never discard your original files after the final file is uploaded. This is because you never know when you’ll need it again to make more content. This can be shared on newly launched platforms like Reels, HiPi, etc. In addition, you can also use a few funny BTS videos, bloopers, and other short content to create more engaging content on new platforms. Hence, a 1 or 2 TB external hard disk is a blessing to avoid losing your precious original and multi-take files.
4. Tripod:
A good quality tripod for your phone or camera is needed depending on what you use the most to shoot content. Choose a dual-use tripod that’s at least 4 feet extendable. So, even when you’re alone, there is no stalling while creating new content. Especially in lockdown, a basic tripod has become a must for people who shoot videos all by themselves.
5. Ring Light:
This is our guardian angel when it comes to creating self-shoot videos and pictures with good light. There are different sized Ring lights available on Amazon and other e-commerce websites. You can choose between the size of 10”, 12” or 18 inches. The ring light usually has 3 light modes to select for your video type. It enhances the video look and provides the required light to avoid making your videos look dull and of low quality. Do opt for a strong ring light that’s not very cheap. This is because the cheap ones usually end up breaking within 2-3 uses.
6. Bluetooth Remote:
Mostly, your ring light or tripod comes with a Bluetooth remote but if it doesn’t come, then don’t fret. Bluetooth remote controllers are easily available at a very reasonable rate on Amazon. Just make sure you buy one so you can have the perfect clicks at the right time.

7. Camera (Optional):
Many Digital content creators shoot maximum content through their smartphones. But in case you need or want high camera quality videos or images, you can opt for a basic camera. You will have to research on lens, resolution, speed, size, and pricing; basis which you can have a pick. It’s not necessary but depending on your need you can always upgrade.
8. Gimbal:
A Gimbal helps in stabilizing the camera movement in all directions and fast pace. It does not spoil/disturb the motion while shooting from any or all directions. Gimbals are a bit expensive as compared to your regular tripods. But it’s worth the expense for shooting high-end professional videos involving a lot of movements.
