What can take my traveling experience to the next level?
Good Food!
While exploring any offbeat locations, getting decent food is what makes the experience wholesome. So when I visited a few cities in Himachal Pradesh a couple of months ago, I was looking to satiate my taste buds with different cuisines. One place that caught my attention was Kasol.
In general, places to eat in Kasol are all about Israeli Food, Cafes, Restaurants, Bakeries, and so much more!
Kasol has been known as the land of Cafes, Restaurants and Eateries spread all around. There is a new place to eat every 50-100 meters. Do not be amazed if you gain a few pounds after a relaxing trip, or go full-on trekking mode to kill some calories đ
Anyway, after a good 4-day leisure trip to Kasol, I thought of coming up with a list of handpicked restaurants/cafes that are the best ones to try. Hence, mentioned below are the places to Eat in Kasol that I discovered. (One of them is my favorite and I had multiple meal experiences).

Here are the 5 Places to Eat in Kasol that you can explore and know all about it.
1.The Evergreen Café:
One of the oldest and the most famous Café in Kasol started in 1989. The Evergreen Café has interior as well as outside seating with an amazing mountain view. They also have WIFI and charging points making it ideal for people who wish to work from a café and chill.
They have multi-variety cuisines ranging from fast food, Israeli and Italian. Trust me, their Israeli food items are to die for. The portion size of every Israeli food item is huge so order accordingly. One portion size can serve 2 people. (P.S â Do ask for their special for the day. There are amazing items the chef displays as specials).
No Service Charge is being imposed and itâs quite a value for money Cafe, with the most amazing and delicious food. I have had almost 4+ meals here. In the evenings, they also keep a heater of coal next to each table and serve hot water to drink. (This was one of the little things that no other place was doing for the comfort of the travelers, but Evergreen did). Also, do expect some waiting time as the place is usually fully packed.
2. MoonDance Cafe & Bar:
This is a Café with amazing romantic vibes and has both interior and garden seating. At the night, the outside seating turns into a candle-light arena which makes it more beautiful. The service is a bit slow; they have amazing options for Italian, fast food and Israeli food. The restaurant is a bit expensive compared to the counterparts and they also charge a 10% Service Tax in addition to the Vat tax, which no other Café adds. You can visit here for a round of drinks and chill.

3. Little Italy Café:
One of the decent places serving Italian food, Little Italy cafĂ© is a fine-dine restaurant thatâs perfect for drinks and food. The service and food were good. No service charge is imposed. We had Manchow Soup and Meat Sauce Pasta. The food was delicious and on point and the restaurant is a closed-door place but also has an outside view of the market area.
4. A-One German Bakery:
Itâs a small Bakery located on the way to head for Chalal, little on the inside. The Bakery has good and fresh options to try. We had tried the rum chocolate balls and chocolate balls. Both were good, chocolate balls were better than the rum ones. On another occasion, we had a Nutella Croissant. It was decent but if you expect a good filling of Nutella like the kind you get in Rishikesh then you might be disappointed.
No tax, service charge or anything. You pay what you see on the items listed.
5. Street Food:
Many places are offering hot delicious Street food. The best is the one which is located in the main market area and run by 2 sisters. The place is always crowded hence you can easily find them. You get chicken momos, Veg Momos, Paneer Momos, Maggie and Hot chocolate. They serve momos with coconut chutney and red hot sauce. Itâs hot and tasty. I could not stop myself on one plate ever here. You get Chicken Momos for 40 INR for 6 pieces and 60 INR for Hot Chocolate.
Though there are many more options in Kasol, these were by far my best 5 Places to Eat in Kasol that stood out for me during my trip, so much so that I have almost visited them multiple times. Hope this list helps in your exploration when in Kasol. Donât forget to comment on your favorite outlet if I missed out on adding them.
